PodShow’s name change into Mevio; its recent transition from podcast network to broadband entertainment network; and the statement of its Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer that they never believed in user-generated content as a business, or even as a sustainable entertainment offering caused dismay among podcasters and other independent content producers (check out the comments here).

But good the good news is that RawVoice made a statement of assurance that they embrace podcasters and the podcasting space and believes in User Generated Content. And the best thing is that they are no way scared of the word Podcast! So, if we are not happy to the recent decisions of PodShow/Mevio, let’s find someone who shares our belief. Remember, there is really truth in saying that “if one door closes, another door will open” with more blessings.

Kudos to the people behind RawVoice who never doubted the capabilities of individual podcasters and who are always enthusiastic to do business with the podcasting community.
