The PodCamp UK successfully ended yesterday but the unconference fever will continue at PodCamp Philly this coming weekend September 7-9, 2007 at Drexel University. The welcome party will be held at P’unk Avenue in the Heart of South Philly on Friday night.

PodCamp Philly is organized by Whitney Hoffman, Lisa Marshall, Steve Lubetkin, Linda Mills,and other well-known social media personalities who have the same passion of sharing the new trends and updates in podcasting and social networking. And of course, the event will be backed up by more than a dozen of generous sponsors to make PodCamp always free to attend.

By the way, PodCamp Philly is also an event for a cause. At 5pm September 8, organizers and attendees will head over to the Art Museum to run the Rocky style steps.  The Podcamp Philly Rocky Run is for the benefit of Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Whether or not you will be there to attend the PodCamp, you can make a $5 donation to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Donor’s name and web address will be rolled in the credits.
