PRWeb, the Online Visibility Company and one of the most prominent online news and press release distribution services celebrated another milestone with their podcasting service. They just announced that their PRWeb Podcast downloads exceeded the one million mark. According to their press release, their team has recorded over 2000 podcast episodes and delivered 1.3 million downloads since the launch of PRWeb Podcast last February 2006.
The PRWeb Podcast features recorded interviews of their press releases where PRWeb staff interview the users or clients about their news announcement in a question and answer format. The clients or users can select the duration of their podcast (5 minutes interview or the more detailed 10-20 minutes interview). The press releases in podcast version are made available in MP3, OGG, and even M4a format and can be listened without the need for any download.
