Streamlogics announced that their on-demand audio and video webcasts can now be played on mobile phones, PDAs and portable media players. This was made possible with their recently introduced new video playback features for mobile devices. The new video playback feature allows web users to transfer full-length broadcasted live webcasts to their mobile devices so that they could watch them any time they wish.
The format of converted video webcasts is based on industry-leading MPEG-4 video technology. On the other hand, audio webcasts can be heard as standard audio-only media files such as Mp3. And depending on the webcasts, the mobile user can likewise simultaneously view the slideshow that was presented during the original live broadcast.
