The Olympus Tool Factory, in its effort to promote podcasting awareness among K-12 and special education schools in the US and Canada launches a podcasting grant contest. The winning schools will win Tool Factory Podcasting software and a complete podcasting package that can be used to kick off their own podcasting program.
Interested schools may participate in Olympus podcasting grant contest by submitting their proposal on how they will use podcasting as part of their curriculum. The schools with most viable and effective proposal that contain creativity, significant student involvement and optimized used of podcasting media will be chosen as the winners.
There will be a total of 10 podcasting grants that will be awarded: Three winners will announced on June 30, 2007, four winners on December 30, 2007 and another three winners on April 30, 2008. Schools may resubmit a new proposal each after the said deadlines for them to have a chance to win again.
