Whoa!  2006 was indeed a great year for PodCamps and I think 2007 will be a better and more promising year for them because there are already several schedules of PodCamp events for the next year not only in the United States but also in Europe and Canada.

PodCamp just started this summer in Boston and it had an overwhelming response from bloggers, podcasters, media and Internet personalities. In short, all PodCamps so far were all a huge success. Perhaps it is the unique style of PodCamps that makes them extensively popular in the podcasting industry. PodCamp is known for its unconference style of live events where anybody from newbie to big time podcaster is allowed to register and join the event for free.

Here are the partial PodCamp events that awaits podcasters and non-podcasters next year: PodCamp Germany on January 12-14,  PodCamp Second Life on January 26-28, PodCamp Toronto on February 24-25, PodCamp Atlanta on March 2007, PodCamp NYC on April 6-7, PodCamp Boston 2 on May 5-6, PodCamp Canada on June 23-34, and PodCampMidWest - July 27-29. I will post details of each PodCamp event as they become nearer.
