November 5th, 2006 · 1 Comment

Zune’s website and market place is already up and alive for its November 14 product launching. Zune is a new media player from Microsoft and many has speculated that Zune is the Microsoft’s move to break the monotony of Apple’s iPod and iTunes global leadership in online music and video revolution.

The Microsoft’s Zune promises a new exciting way of creative multimedia expression and innovative sharing of multimedia contents with the world around you by incorporating wireless connectivity. And based on Microsoft’s Zune advertisement, the new media player indeed have several cool and exciting features that is worth trying such as a 30 GB Hard Drive capacity that can accommodate basically all kinds of multimedia contents from pictures to audio recordings to video shows, FM Tuner and a 3-inch screen.

And in addition, the Zune device is said to have pre loaded music contents from DTS, EMI Music, Ninja Tune, Quango Music Group and many other record companies. All these are packed in Zune for an estimated price of $250 – sounds good! But of course, we have to wait for the launching to actually experience all these publicity claims and validate the Zune’s initial reviews. Many are really excited to test and compare the Zune’s performance over Apple’s iPod. And as for Zune’s podcasting capabilities, we can see after its launching how friendly it will be to podcast enthusiasts.
